Bio

Jurgita Stankevičiūtė was born in Lithuania in 1992. Inclined towards philosophy, she started her self-study still as a teenager through books, diving into depression and self-teaching meditation. As the arts were her natural element right from the earliest years, she went through three years of fine arts schooling plus one year as preparation for architecture studies and attended two years of graphic design courses. Nonetheless, her mind was too eager to find answers about human nature and the world we live in—astrophysics studies seemed like the next best thing in that pursuit. Study years have shown her how long and difficult scientific processes can be in terms of finding answers. Right at that moment of disappointment, spirituality found a way to deliver not only answers but also a healthier mind-body state. Her first guided meditation catapulted her into the world of inner vision. Inside—no time, no limits. After graduating from university with a degree in physics, she moved abroad. Intense awareness practice years were blessed with the journeys to Peru, where she immersed herself in the world of native shamanism. Finally, seventeen years after fine arts schooling, she opened up the chamber of unexplored creativity, now resulting in her original artwork.
